Words of Poems

The words of poems are you and me
Floating in space
Someone spilled a handful of stars and left
Them spiraling in the air.

They are that mysterious face you've seen before
Peering out of the window
That never gets opened,
Never gets closed.

A flower, a form of poetry
Blooms
Opens new pathways
A road of light leads to freedom.

The words of poetry shoot through your flesh
Sinking through you
Opening a hole, a black hole
And sucks you in
Oblivion rears its ugly face
And you're stuck.

The words of poems are like bullets
Ripping through my flesh
Destroying happiness to all the world
Burning bullets
Create a black hole.

They're like seagulls
Screeching, screaming!
Through my eardrums
Making me deaf.

Words are like tulips
Scattering pollen everywhere
A gust of wind causes
The pollen to fly.

The words of poems are like bombs
Causing mayhem,
Banishing the world
To a speck of dust.

The words in my head
Are spinning around
It's like a jigsaw puzzle
In my head
Not sure what word fits where
They are wanting to burst out like a burning flame
I'm feeling dizzy
Too many words
I need to stop over - thinking
Time to rest my thoughts
A glass of water and a new blank canvas
In my head.

The words of poems are a track
You can follow
A track of death and a track of life
That will soften you.

Bullets going everywhere
Penetrating through you
Spikes going through you.

The respect of life
Covers the land with sweetness in the air
Water drips out of my eyes.

The words of poems are flowers
Blossoming in my heart
Opening the way
To my fate.

They're bullets of pain
Searing hot showers
The bullet shells crack
Making an opening to oblivion.

The words of poems are songs
Singing into nothingness
Taking the shadows with them
Leaving the world in eternal light.

The words of poems are a fist
Clutching your heart
Dragging it to the pit
You're oblivious to your destiny.
