Homework Challenges

It has been three weeks since our new homework format went home. I am loving seeing all the variety of books that Tuhuru is reading, and think it is fantastic that Sam C is including reading The Press in his reading log.
Some children have taken on the challenge of beginning one of the 'can do' section.
Sam D has made a bridge that held a pound of butter.
 
Molly has started learning about what happens to recycling after we put it out in our bins. Did you know that it goes on a big conveyor belt to sort out anything that shouldn't be there?!

Sam C has started growing mold in the cupboard in the laundry, in the kitchen, and on the porch. The kitchen and the porch have already started growing.
Lyndon has made a volcano out of cardboard.
