Beach Ed Fun

Room 12 had a fantastic day at Waikuku Beach today for Beach Education. In the morning we learned all about sun safety, what to do and what not to do when at the beach, how to recognise rips, CPR, a tour of the clubhouse, as well as some great games on the beach. Louis and Amelia were the fastest at beach sprints.
In the afternoon everyone got into the water. It was pretty chilly and a little rough. All the children had an absolute blast on the boogie boards (some may be requested for Christmas!) They caught great waves and the smiles on their faces were an absolute delight.

Well done Team for being pretty much faultless for a really enjoyable day.
