Initially the children researched the history of the Wearable Arts show which began in Nelson. They then began designing costumes and discussing what materials could be used to create them. They cooperated wonderfully to create the outfits, choreographed their on-stage movements, and then selected and cut appropriate music.
Each child played such a major role in every stage of the process.
