Science Inquiry Boards

The children of Room 12 are very proud of their work done on their science inquiry boards. They are working really hard to get these ready for parents to come and view them on December 3rd from 12-1pm. I have loved the commitment of students to get their experiments done at home and then write them up at school. We have been madly printing out, backing our writing, and looking at the layout of our boards to make sure it looks great.

Ms Saxon thinks Holly will be something like an interior designer as she has such an eye for layout

Sam's experiment didn't go as planned but that enabled him to learn even more

Alisha is so proud of her work on growing plants

Rosie did a stunning job comparing humans with chimpanzees. Can you spot Rosie in the forest with the chimps?!

 Many mentos volcanoes got messy!!

Evie was really interested in the animals of the Galapagos. Did you know that there is an animal that snorts salt out of its nose so it can drink salt water?!

Lydia even made a model of the Galapagos Islands

Oliver learnt all about how pressure builds up in volcanoes

Evelyn thinks that we should find alternative fuels so that oil spills don't damage marine life

Ella did a great job organising the layout of her board on oil spills

Conal's experiment on how plants effect gravity taught him that plants have to constantly fight gravity to grow

Isabella proudly showed off her board to mum last week

Molly was the first to complete her whole board!
